Feast Parade Sunday proved to be another memorable occasion this year for our church with the visit of special guests, Anglia Youth Band to share with us on the day under the leadership of Bandmaster Paul Winterbourne. The morning worship was led by the Band’s executive officer, Major Adrian Maddern, which featured testimony, music and reflections on what it means to follower of Jesus. It was great to see the hall full with a number of visitors coming especially for the day to support the Youth Band. In the afternoon, a large crowd of many people lined the streets to watch the Feast Parade and it was a great thrill to have the Youth Band leading the parade and witnessing for the Lord in the music that they played. There were quite a number of floats featuring different groups from within the community. After the Parade, the band gave a concert outside the library which delighted the largest crowd of people for many years who gathered to listen. As a church we wish to thank Anglia Youth Band for the wonderful witness that they gave for God and the way they represented The Salvation Army in this important event in the life our villages. They were a great example of young Christians and their visit will be remembered and appreciated for a long time to come.
