On Sunday 4th March, there will be the Self Denial Altar Service held in our morning worship.  This will be an opportunity for us to give financially to support the work of The Salvation Army and our Salvationist brothers and sisters in countries around the world. 

In years gone by, the week before the Altar Service used to be known as OWSOMS week which stood for One Weeks Salary on Overseas

Missionary Service.  People were encouraged to give a week’s salary as their Altar Service gift.  As we head towards Self Denial Sunday, is there something that you would be willing to give up for these next few weeks.  If so, why not put the money that you would have spent aside so that it can be given as your offering in the Altar Service.
