Half Days of Prayer
The Half Days of Prayer for November are as follows:
Wednesday 5th November – 12pm to 6pm
Wednesday 19th November 4 to 8pm
Thursday 27th November – 12pm to 6pm

The sign up sheet is at the back of the hall and the days of prayer will be held in the Prayer Room.

Harvest Altar Service
Thank you to all who so generously gave in the Harvest Altar Service. The amount raised was £283.15. 75% of this goes to The Salvation Army’s work in the local area and 25% to the work in the United Kingdom.

Remembrance Sunday Civic Service
The Civic Service will be at the Methodist Church this year following the short service at the War Memorial at 9:30am.

Winter Fayre
The Winter Fayre is on Saturday 15th November from 10am to 12pm. There is opportunity for any section/group activity to have their own stall to raise funds for their group or for church funds. There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the hall if you would like to have a stall.

Gift Aid
Do you pay tax? If so, would you be willing to sign a Gift Aid declaration form? This would mean that for every £1 given by you in the collection, the church would be able to claim back 28p in tax so in effect it becomes £1.28! Please see Edd Stonham or Captains if you would like more information.

Minibus Drivers Needed!
With the exciting news that the church has received a generous donation to purchase its own minibus, there is a need for minibus drivers, especially to provide transport on Sundays. It is planned to purchase the minibus in the springtime so if you know of anyone who might be able to help in this way, please let Captains know. Please also keep this request high on your prayer list!

Christmas Carolling!
The Band will be commencing their Christmas Carolling season early this year. If there is anyone able to help collecting, on the following dates, that would be much appreciated.

Sunday 16th November – 2pm to 3pm
Saturday 29th November – 10am to 11:30am
Saturday 6th December – 10am to 12pm
Saturday 13th December – 10am to 12pm
Saturday 20th December – 10am to 12pm

As per recent years, the Band will be carolling outside the Grafton Centre. Please see Captains if you can help out collecting and please keep the band in your prayers as they witness to the people of Cambridge during the Christmas season.
