It was the invitation of their neighbours that has led to Histon Corps welcoming its newest Adherents Rose Martin, Christine & Russell Larham on Sunday 17th September.

Rose moved next door to Edith Knightley and their friendship began. Edith invited Rose to the Home League but Rose expressed a desire instead to come to the Sunday meeting. Rose has been coming ever since and is now also a member of the Home League.

Russell, first started helping in the Charity Shop but it was the conversations over the fence with their neighbours, Julie & Robert Carmichael, that brought Christine & Russell to the church. As their friendship grew Julie & Robert invited them to attend a Harvest Sunday meeting and they soon became regular attenders.  Russell is the manager of the Charity Shop and Christine is a member of the recently formed Vision Group. All three are very much part of the church family and it was a thrilling day for the  church to welcome them as adherents and see friendship evangelism at work!
