Week of Prayer
Following on from the Weeks of Prayer held by the churches in Histon and Impington in previous years, this will be happening again this year from Sunday 4th June to Sunday 11th June. The week will commence at 7:30pm on the 4th and conclude with a Celebration service on Sunday 11th at 6:30pm. As has happened before, the Prayer Room will be at the Methodist Church and the idea is for people to sign up to pray at a time during the week. Further details will become available nearer the time.

Please Remember in Prayer:
The families of Dolly Neal and Gladys Taylor who have sadly passed away recently.
Jack Johnson, who will be retiring this month.

Race for Life
Joanna Clayton will be taking part in the Race for Life on Sunday 2nd July. She is looking for sponsors to raise money for the British Heart Foundation so if you would like to support Joanna in this way, please speak to her to sign her form.

Candidates’ Collection Fund
Each year The Salvation Army holds a collection for the Candidates Collection fund which has been set up to provide financial support for people when needed who will be entering The Salvation Army Training College to become Salvation Army officers. Our collection will take place on Sunday 14th May at the conclusion of our morning worship.

Over Sixties Rally
The annual Over Sixties Rally in Felixstowe takes place again this year on Tuesday 9th May. This is an event for all the Over Sixties Clubs that are run by The Salvation Army in the Anglia Region. It promises to be an entertaining day with the theme being ‘Heroes and Heroines’ and people are invited to come dressed as one of their heroes if they would like to! The Sunshine Club will be travelling down by coach and we have a few spare seats left so if you would like to come, please speak to Betty or Captains.

Feast Parade Sunday – 2nd July
Our special guests will be Croydon Citadel Salvation Army Band who will lead our morning worship and be taking part in the Feast Parade
